node1988 Accessibility Support
Last updated: May 19, 2026.
This page describes the accessibility support available in node1988 on iPhone and iPad.
Supported features: VoiceOver, Voice Control, Dark Interface, and Differentiate Without Color.
VoiceOver
Primary controls and gameplay elements include accessibility labels and values so screen-reader users can identify actions and game state.
Voice Control
Core game actions are exposed through standard tappable controls with explicit labels so users can trigger controls by voice.
Dark Interface
Core gameplay uses a dark visual interface designed for low-glare play across common in-app tasks.
Differentiate Without Color
Gameplay uses shape, symbols, and text cues in addition to color. Examples include labeled tile markers (P, D, E), glyph-based tile types (+, A, X, #), and explicit threat indicators.
For Color-Blind Friendly Play
- Status and tile meaning are communicated with iconography and text, not color alone.
- Threat states include symbols and badges in addition to hue shifts.
- Gameplay instructions and legends reinforce meaning with labels and terminology.
Website Accessibility
- Semantic headings, form labels, and link structure are used throughout this site.
- Keyboard navigation is supported across main page actions and support forms.
- Responsive layouts are implemented for mobile and tablet screen sizes.
